Hello, my name is Andrew Komosa and welcome to Aviation Lawyer.

I have been a solicitor for many years, more than I care to remember. But my real passion is aviation, having owned a number of aircraft myself over the years.

Anyone who has ever had a trial flying lesson, passed their pilot’s licence or is employed in the commercial field, will know it’s an expensive business. In order to balance the flying books I have rented out aircraft, run them on a group basis and I now operate a non-equity group out of Biggin Hill in Kent.

I have experience of aircraft purchase & sales, and am presently forming a partnership around my two-seater light helicopter from my home in Surrey.

I have made numerous friends in aviation, ranging from pilots to airfield operators, from engineering services to insurance companies and many more… On my travels around the world of aviation, I like to think I have become known for my generosity in providing legal advice & assistance to those confronted with aeronautical legal issues. Hence, in 2008, Aviation Lawyer was set up to put my knowledge onto a more professional basis and I welcome the opportunity to discuss any aeronautical legal concerns with you today.
